Privacy notice
This notice covers the details Brookside Solutions LLC ("we") gathers through stairelevator.org and by phone, the reasons, who receives them, and the requests you can make about them.
Information we gather
- Your name, phone number, ZIP code, stair shape, the page you sent the form from, the consent sentence you accepted with its time, your IP address, and browser type come from the quote form.
- Calls to 1-833-958-9636: the line you rang from, the call's start time and duration, plus a recording whenever the greeting warns it may be recorded.
- Visits: our server logs and a small internal script track which pages you view, link clicks, call button taps, and if you began the form. No cookies are set by us, and no advertising or analytics companies are used.
- Your browser saves the state you choose on the home page so the site remembers it.
Our reasons for using it
We pass your call or quote request to an installer who can help, stop spam, see which pages help visitors, and meet legal duties.
Who gets your info?
Your request goes to stair lift and mobility installers working in your ZIP code, who then get in touch with you. Because they pay us for it, some states consider this a sale or sharing of personal information under their laws. We also hire service providers for hosting, email and call handling, and they may use the data only to do that work. Lists of visitors are never sold by us.
Keeping and deleting it
We hold quote requests and call logs for a maximum of three years to prove consent and answer referral questions. Server logs stay up to 13 months.
Rights you have
No matter where you live in the United States, we will on request show you the data we keep on you, and amend it, erase it, or halt any sale or sharing of it. State privacy laws in places such as Texas, California, Virginia, Utah, Colorado and Connecticut make these rights legal ones for their residents, and also protect you from being treated differently for using them. You may also pick an authorized agent to make requests for you.
To stop any sale or sharing, go to Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Send any other request by emailing office@stairelevator.org. We check who you are by asking for the email or phone number you gave us, then we reply within 45 days.
Children
Adults are the intended users of this site. No information is knowingly collected by us from individuals under 16.
